Metasequoia glyptostroboides ‘Snow Flurry’ is a tree form of Dawn redwood which is similar to species slightly slower growing. Plant leafs out green with second flush being white. Does not seem to burn in full sum and the amount of variegation varies from year to year. Typical rate of growth in most areas is up to 24 inches (60 cm) per year resulting in a large tree 20 feet (6 m) tall after 10 years in the landscape.

Pat McCracken and his namesake nursery in Zebulon, North Carolina introduced this cultivar to the nursery trade in 2005. Occasionally, one will see this one listed as Metasequoia glyptostroboides ‘Pat McCracken,’ ‘McCracken’s White,’ or as ‘Snow Flurries.’
