Larix kaempferi 'Pendula'

A pendulous weeping plant that takes on many forms depending on training and where the graft was placed on the rootstock. Eventually weeps to the ground and forms a ground cover. This plant is habitually and improperly labeled and sold as Larix decidua ‘Pendula’in the USA.The shoots are a rich to reddish pink on the new growth, leaves are blue-green to glaucous and wider. The small cones when present are distinctive with reflexed scales.
