Abies nephrolepis x sibirica

Abies nephrolepis x siberica, was first described in 1957 by Makoto Takenouchi & Jia Ju Chien. It is reported as a natural hybrid represented by a single tree found in northeastern China — Heilonjiang province (Tailing forest). So far it is only cited as Abies × sibirico-nephrolepis, which is deemed by ICNCP to be a statement of its hybrid formula, not a valid name. No valid name has yet to be provided for this tree. It is unlikely to be in cultivation and if it is, it must be extremely rare.
